Dr. Winter carries a portable x-ray machine in his truck at all times. It is used for horses on the farm and in the clinic for small animal procedures. Multiple views can be taken in a matter of minutes. They are developed at our clinic, which takes about 30 minutes. X-rays can be easily mailed off for further evaluation if needed. They are kept on file for 7 years. If you would like x-rays taken, please let us know when you schedule your appointment and Dr. Winter will have an assistant available.
